Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chitron AI ("Chitron", "we", "us", or "our"), including our desktop application and website. By downloading, accessing, or using Chitron, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Chitron. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these Terms.
2. Your Account
You sign in to Chitron using a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Credits & Usage
Chitron uses a credit system. New accounts may receive free credits, and additional credits may be offered or purchased. Credits are used to generate AI responses and have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change credit allowances and pricing at any time.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Chitron for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the service to capture or process data you do not have the right to access.
- Share content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
5. Screen Capture Consent
Chitron analyzes your screen only when you request it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the content on your screen and that doing so does not violate the privacy or confidentiality rights of others.
6. AI-Generated Content
Chitron uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating and verifying any information or instructions before relying on them. Chitron is not a substitute for professional advice.
7. Intellectual Property
Chitron and its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Third-Party Services
Chitron relies on third-party providers (including AI, authentication, and hosting services). Your use of those services through Chitron may also be subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Chitron is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chitron and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Chitron at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using Chitron at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Chitron after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
